A number of women activists brought thousands of petitions that flowed through the change.org site to be handed over to the police at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Tuesday (03/08/2016). In the petition which was also addressed to the Council's Honorary Court (MKD), they urged the relevant parties to follow up on reports related to a number of individual members of the Indonesian Parliament who were exposed to cases of violence against women to be legally processed, and fired from public officials. Sejumlah aktivis perempuan membawa ribuan petisi yang mengalir melalui situs change.org untuk diserahkan kepada pihak kepolisian di Mabes Polri, Jakarta, Selasa (8/3/2016). Dalam petisi yang juga ditujukan kepada Mahkamah Kehormatan Dewan (MKD) tersebut mereka mendesak pihak terkait menindaklanjuti laporan terkait sejumlah oknum anggota DPR RI yang terkena kasus kekerasan terhadap perempuan untuk diproses secara hukum, dan dipecat dari pejabat publik.
