BI Governor Darmin Nasution when delivering a statement to a number of journalists today, Thursday 10 January 2013. Bank Indonesia (BI) decided to keep the BI (BI Rate) benchmark rate in January 2013 at the level of 5.75 percent. This means that it has been 12 months or a year that the central bank has maintained the BI Rate since February 2012. Gubernur BI Darmin Nasution saat menyampaikan keterangan pada sejumlah wartawan hari ini, Kamis 10 Januari 2013. Bank Indonesia (BI) memutuskan untuk mempertahankan suku bunga acuan BI (BI Rate) pada Januari 2013 ini di level 5,75 persen. Ini berarti sudah 12 bulan atau setahun bank sentral mempertahankan BI Rate sejak Februari 2012.Gubernur BI Darmin Nasution menjelaskan, tingkat suku bunga tersebut dinilai masih konsisten dengan tekanan inflasi yang rendah dan terkendali sesuai dengan target inflasi pada 2013 dan 2014 di level 4,5 plus minus 1 persen. -JP/R.
