Two heavy mud desludging machines, assisted by a floating backhoe unit, are carrying out hot liquid sludge from a holding pond to be channeled to the Porong River, Sidoarjo Regency, Tuesday (25/8). The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing is targeting that in 2016 it will examine the current condition of the underground surface of the Lapindo mudflow center, as well as try out several methods of stopping the mudflow that have not yet been carried out, as the completion of compensation payments for the mudflow victims. - JP / Wahyoe Boediwardhana / Adi / 19

Dua alat berat penyedot lumpur cair dibantu satu unit backhoe apung, tengah melakukan penyedotan lumpur cair panas dari kolam penampungan untuk dialirkan ke Sungai Porong, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, Selasa (25/8). Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat menargetkan tahun 2016 mendatang akan meneliti kondisi terkini bawah permukaan tanah pusat semburan lumpur Lapindo, serta mengujicoba beberapa metode penghentian semburan lumpur yang masih belum dilakukan, seiring selesainya pembayaran ganti rugi masyarakat korban lumpur. - JP/Wahyoe Boediwardhana/Adi/19
